You'll have customized Norwegian instruction each day in a small group, with a dedicated teacher helping you reach your goals—whether that's conversational fluency or preparing for official exams like B1 or B2. The teaching combines grammar, vocabulary, and oral practice with fun and varied methods tailored to how people actually learn.
But Norwegian at Solbakken isn't just classroom work. We use nature, history, art, and culture as your extended classroom. From learning how to bake waffles to watching a play at the National Theatre, from wandering through deep forests to visiting iconic places like the Munch Museum or Viking landmarks—you will experience Norway from the inside. We take you to Finnskogen, Kongsvinger, Odalstunet, Oslo and the Ibsen Museum and the Munch Museum, the National Theatre, the Castle and much more – everything within less than an hour away from our school.
